Big Ideas for Global Leadership
Where will WSU take you? Maybe a better question is ‘what will you do when you get there?’
Providing international and cultural experiences for all students, whether on our campuses or abroad, is a competitive imperative for Washington State University as we seek to prepare the next generation of leaders to flourish in a world economy. For WSU faculty, fostering opportunities for international research and scholarly collaborations fuels discoveries, inspires creativity, and allows for the distribution of life changing technology and outreach.
Throughout The Campaign for WSU, private support expanded the number of students who could participate in study abroad programs, and supported interdisciplinary academic and research programs overseas. With each experience, existing connections were strengthened and new ones created between WSU and the world. The result is a world of possibilities for advancing knowledge, sharing ideas, enriching cultural understanding, and improving everyone’s understanding of the world around them.
South Africa, Brazil, Australia, Switzerland, China, India—nearly 150 countries in all. All around the globe, WSU faculty, students, and alumni are making a difference wherever they work, study, and live.
